Frequently Asked Questions

When do we play?

The 2026 winter competition runs from early May to mid-September. All games are played on Saturdays at the same time each week. Game times are released by the Eastwood Ryde Netball Association (ERNA) around March each year. Junior teams typically play between 8am and 12:30pm; senior games start from 12:30pm through to 3:30pm. The standard season is 14 games with 3 weeks of finals.

Key 2026 dates: First game — Saturday 2 May. Grand Final — 12 August. NetSetGo and U10s age groups do not have a finals series.

Spring Night Competition runs September to December for players 11 years and over. This competition also includes mixed netball grades. Registrations for Spring Night usually open in July.

Where do we play?

All age groups play at the Bennelong Sports Centre, 22 Winbourne St, West Ryde NSW 2114. View on Google Maps →

Do we have training?

Coaches are allocated to all junior teams and training runs once per week. All junior players are expected to attend training each week. Training is not compulsory for senior players, however a day and time can be arranged for any team that is interested. Training days depend on coach and team availability and are confirmed pre-competition.

How are teams graded?

Teams are placed in the ERNA competition by ERNA officials based on players' age and skill level. There are generally multiple divisions within each age group. See our Grading Policy for full details.
